So Low End Theory SF was last friday. It was loud as shit…and our best set as a quintet yet…word on the street is that we were kinda different.haha. Feels like we definitely made an impression on heads…..we hope to have to have some footage from the set coming soon!

“Ambinet” ….a live outtake from our recording sessions for the “Self Titled” EP. This was during May-June of 2010 when we set up a studio in Union City and embarked on a musical journey with ambient and cosmic results…this track also features one of the earliest recordings with new member Marcus Stephens, as he plays clarinet with effects..a very dense and improvised textural jam session. This is a clip of the fabrication of the Goddess puppet. Our director Aureen Almario is really inspired by Jenn Porreca’s paintings of women and while writing ideas for the vid Jenn’s imagery was the vivid inspiration.

During Fabrication week we played with ideas for the ‘magic/goddess’, and then when Jenn walked in with the head everything seemed to finally fall together from that point on. Enjoy, Pu22L3 had the duties of cutting the final stencil for the goddess head and luckily he remembered to document it. ENJOY.

this was a fun project. It was directed By Aureen Almario, and features music by us. A lot of mikes family members helped out as well as some wonderful friends that came out and helped us fabricate puppets, make scenes, as well as shoot and edit it. So much Hard work and fun went into it. So much time and planning, so much stress, so much loss of sleep, SO MUCH FUN!!! We hope u can see that and enjoy what is going to be the new direction we are going.
